Mendhar:TDD, A farmer today sustained injuries in the explosion of a land mine near Shahpur in Poonch district along the Line of Control.
As per the reports, the person identified as Mohammed Haneef (40), son of Akbar Din, resident of village Shahpur was collecting fire wood in his fields, when he accidentally stepped on a landmine.
As he stepped on the land mine, the report stated that the explosion took place in which the farmer sustained multiple injuries.
He was immediately evacuated to a hospital. The matter is under investigation.TDD
