‘I believe the INDIA alliance is everyday, every minute’

Jammu, (TDD): National Conference (NC) president Dr. Farooq Abdullah today stressed on the importance of adopting a constructive and pragmatic approach to addressing the challenges faced by the people of Jammu and Kashmir, emphasizing that simply fighting with the central government will not resolve the region’s pressing issues.
“We are not aligned with the BJP, but the fact is, they are in power at the Centre. We cannot afford to engage in endless confrontations with Delhi. Fighting with Delhi will not solve the problems our people face. The real focus should be on finding solutions for the people, not in political battles,” Dr. Abdullah remarked.
His comments underline a more strategic approach, urging political leaders to prioritize the welfare of the people over ideological conflicts. “Those who want to engage in a battle with Delhi are free to do so, but for us, our priority should always be to work within the system to resolve the issues that affect our everyday lives,” he added.
Dr. Abdullah’s words reflect a call for unity and collaboration to tackle the socio-economic challenges of the region, rather than wasting energy in political standoffs. His focus on pragmatic governance over political sparring is a reminder that real change lies in addressing the fundamental needs of the people. (TDD)
