Udhampur,DD :- In a gruesome accident on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at Dhramthal, area of Udhampur district, one individual lost their life in a car-truck collision. The mishap took place when Alto car with registration number JK08J0362, traveling towards Udhampur, crashed into a truck (registration number JK02DE 5297).
On getting information regarding the accident, CRPF personnel and Jammu & Kashmir Police reached the spot immediately. Even though there was quick action by the security forces, the Alto car driver was dead at the site. The dead body of the victim has been shifted to Associated Hospital Government Medical College Udhampur for post-mortem.
Police have lodged a case about the incident, and investigations are ongoing to establish the specific cause of the accident.DD
