UDHAMPUR, TDD, The final randomization of polling staff for the upcoming General Assembly Elections 2024 was conducted today here under the supervision of District Election Officer Udhampur Saloni Rai.

The randomization process focused on the fair and impartial deployment of polling staff across Udhampur District’s four Assembly constituencies. This meticulous allocation ensures that polling personnel are distributed evenly and without prejudice, a critical factor in maintaining the democratic principles of free and fair elections.

This final randomization marks a significant milestone in the preparations for the Assembly Elections 2024 in the region. It demonstrates the Election Commission’s commitment to conducting a transparent and equitable electoral process, particularly in areas that have faced political sensitivities in the past.

As the election date approaches, this randomization of poll staff is expected to contribute to the smooth conduct of voting across Udhampur’s constituencies. It also reflects the ongoing efforts to strengthen democratic processes in Jammu and Kashmir following significant political changes in recent years.

The successful completion of this exercise brings the district one step closer to election readiness, with officials and citizens alike looking forward to a well-organized and democratically sound electoral event.TDD
