Fire destroys generator parts shop at Last Morh area

Jammu:DD, A massive fire broke out in Last Morh area of Jammu in which spare parts worth lakhs were destroyed.
The fire erupted late on Friday evening after which fire brigades reached the spot and started dousing the blaze.
The affected shop has been identified as Everest Traders. The fire that spread to adjoining shops also caused some damage to a plyboard store.
Virender Magotra, proprietor of Everest Traders said that the flames consumed the store housing generator components.
He also reported that important documents, including bill books, purchase records, and GST returns spanning the last decade, were destroyed. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.DD
