Kulgam, (DD)A devastating midnight fire tore through Government Middle School Dangerpora Brinal in Kulgam’s Devsar area, damaging three buildings and disrupting the education of over 150 enrolled students, officials confirmed on Tuesday.
Zonal Education Officer (ZEO) Devsar, Ghulam Nabi Dar, said the blaze broke out late Monday night, engulfing two main buildings and an additional old structure. “We have shifted the students to the only undamaged building on the premises as a temporary measure,” he stated.
A complaint has been lodged with the police, and an investigation is underway to determine the cause of the fire(DD)
