Fire gutted property worth lakhs in Ramban Market

Ramban, DD: A fire broke out today in Ward No. 3, Ramban Market, triggering swift response from district administration, police and emergency services.

On receiving information, rescue teams comprising the Fire and Emergency Department, Police, Civil QRT, locals and other agencies immediately rushed to the spot and brought the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to adjoining shops and residential areas.

Deputy Commissioner Ramban, Mohammad Alyas Khan,  reached on the spot and supervised the rescue operation to ensure coordinated efforts by all concerned departments and agencies.

During the incident, the shop of Rusham Gupta, son of Ram Kishore Gupta suffered huge loss. No loss of life has been reported.

The DC  assured that every possible support will be extended to the affected family.DD
