Firing on Scorpio in Kathua, three sustain bullet injury

KATHUA: DD, Three persons today sustained bullet injuries, when they were attacked by armed rivals at Balian Tali area of Kanyadi in Kathua District.
As per the reports, the victims were in their vehicle (Scorpio), when bullets were fired on them, leaving three of them injured.
Immediately, the accused person escaped from the spot before the police could reach there, the report claimed.
The locals with the help of police evacuated the injured to the Government Medical College, Kathua.
The police team rushed to the spot, and they started the investigation to arrest the absconding person.
Police sources said that it was apparently a rivalry in the wake of a land dispute. However, the matter is under investigation to ascertain the facts.
The police have registered a case in this regard at police station Kathua.DD
