Five-Day Pooja Holidays announced

Jammu:TDD, The Directorate of School Education today declared a five-day Pooja holiday in all the educational institutions in the Jammu Division.

The break will allow students and teachers to celebrate the upcoming religious festivities.

According to the official order issued by the Directorate of School Education, the holidays will commence on October 29, 2024, and continue until November 2, 2024. The decision applies to all government and private educational institutions, including those in the summer and winter zones of the division.

The order, issued by the Director of School Education, Jammu, cites Government Order No. 335-Edu of 2005 as the reference for this holiday declaration. The move aims to provide a much-needed respite for students and educators during this auspicious time.

The Directorate of School Education has directed all concerned authorities, including the Principal Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Commissioners, and Chief Education Officers, to ensure that the order is implemented effectively.TDD
