Jammu: TDD,A wreath-laying ceremony was held at Gulshan Ground, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, this evening to honor and remember Head Constable Bashir Ahmed of the Jammu and Kashmir Police, who attained martyrdom while fighting terrorists in village Kog (Mandli) under the jurisdiction of Police Station Billawar, District Kathua.
Director General of Police, Operations and Security, Nalin Prabhat, along with all police personnel, paid homage to the martyr. Police officers, colleagues, and family members laid floral wreaths on the martyr’s mortal remains.
The martyr’s body was later handed over to his family for last rites. The Jammu and Kashmir Police expressed its solidarity with the martyr’s family during this difficult time and paid rich tributes to his supreme sacrifice in the line of duty.TDD
