Jammu: DD, Police Wednesday claimed to have solved an attempted murder case with the arrest of four persons allegedly involved in the plot in Rehari.
Police said that Shubham Gill was allegedly assaulted by Rahil Gargota and three others near Rehari.
The injured person was evacuated and shifted to the hospital.
Meanwhile, the victim’s sister filed a written complaint with the police alleging that her brother namely Shubham was attacked with iron rods and deadly weapons.
Accordingly, a case under FIR No 70 of 2025 was registered under various sections of the law, including attempt to murder and arms act and investigation taken-up at the concerned police station.
Acting swiftly, the police launched an investigation and apprehended the accused individuals who have been identified as Aftab Bhat, Rahil Gargota, Dhruv Sharma, and Govinda.
The operation was supervised by SDPO City North, Jammu, Vikram Bhau, and led by SHO Police Station Pacca Danga, Jammu, Rakesh Singh Jamwal, along with Incharge Police Post Rehari, Jammu, PSI Shahraz Ahmed. Further investigation into the case is in progress.DD
