GAD constitutes five members committee to address stagnation among JKAS officers

Committee to examine & submit its report regarding streamline of career progression among JKAS officers

Jammu,TDD: The General Administration Department (GAD) today accorded a sanction to the constitution of a five-member committee to address the stagnation among the members of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services (JKAS) and systematic referral of vacancies of Junior Scale of JKAS.
Referring to the career progression of the JKAS members, the GAD Commissioner Secretary, Sanjeev Verma has accorded a sanction to constitute a committee comprising of officers i.e., Financial Commissioner (Additional Chief Secretary), Jal Shakti Department, Shaleen Kabra, Principal Secretary, Finance Department, Santosh D. Vaidya, Commissioner Secretary, GAD, Sanjeev Verma, Administrative Secretary, ARI & Trainings Department, Shabnam Kamili, and Administrative Secretary, Law, Justice, & Parliamentary Affairs Department, Achal Sethi.
The committee shall examine and submit its report with respect to the streamline of career progression among the officers of Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Services.
Meanwhile, the committee will also examine systematic referral of the vacancies of Junior Scale of JKAS for recruitment to the J&K Public Service Commission.TDD
