GCW Udhampur organises Poetry recitation competition

UDHAMPUR :-TDD,As part of Departmental activities,Department of Dogri Government College for (GCW) Udhampur organized a poetry recitation competition based on Famous Dogri writers under the patronage of Principal Dr. Nalini Pathania at college campus here today.

Ten students recited poetry in this program. Everyone’s poems are very good and captivate everyone’s heart. Among these participants Shikha Choudhary stood 3rd position,Neetu Devi bagged 2nd position and Shruti Devi stood first position. The faculty members of Dogri Department ,HOD Sanskrit Dr. Om Prakash and HOD Hindi Prof. Sunil Magotra were present in this program. The formal Vote of thanks was presented by Prof. Vijay Kumari.

In her welcome address, Dr. Sushma Kumari, HOD Dogri encouraged the students to participate in the programme with proper tone, rhythm and participate in such programs in near future and special thanks to the Principal madam Dr. Nalini Pathania who inspires to do such types of programs.

The jury members of the event were HOD Sanskrit Dr. Om Parkash and HOD Hindi Prof. Sunil Magotra. Assistant Professor Manju from the Department of Dogri conducted the proceedings of the programme.TDD
