Kargil, DD, Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), Learners Support Center, GDC Kargil conducted an induction program for students enrolled in July 2024 and January 2025 through LSC-1249 on Sunday at GDC Kargil Campus. The event also included orientation of IGNOU Academic Counsellors.
Mr. Manzoor Hussain, coordinator IGNOU LSC Kargil welcomed the visiting guests from IGNOU regional Center Srinagar, Dr. A H Rizvi, Regional Director and Dr. Mohammad Abdullah, Deputy Director.
The technical session started with a power point presentation by Dr. Abdullah in which he enlightened the participants about IGNOU admissions and examination processes.
Dr. A H Rizvi held an engaging interactive session with the participants and clarified issues regarding IGNOU courses and other academic issues pertaining to the courses that are being pursued by a large number of students in Kargil. He appreciated the role of GDC Kargil and its faculty members regarding their efforts in developing standards of higher education through various modes of studies.
