GDC Kishtwar launches cleanliness drive in campus

Kishtwar: DD, The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit of Government Degree College Kishtwar conducted a comprehensive Cleanliness Drive within the college campus under the directions of the Worthy Principal, Prof. Basharat Iqbal, and under the supervision of the NSS Programme Officer, Prof. Esarul Ayub.
The activity was carried out with the active participation of NSS volunteers, who assembled in the college premises and undertook a series of cleanliness-related tasks.
The volunteers cleaned different sections of the campus, including open spaces, pathways, and garden areas. They collected waste materials, disposed of garbage in designated bins, and encouraged the maintenance of hygiene and cleanliness across the institution.
The volunteers also displayed strong teamwork and coordination throughout the drive. The Principal appreciated the efforts of the volunteers and encouraged them to continue contributing positively towards the upkeep of the campus.
The cleanliness initiative not only helped in maintaining a clean and green environment but also motivated students to adopt cleanliness as a regular habit.


The drive concluded successfully with the commitment of the NSS Unit to organize more such activities in the future for the welfare of the college community and society at large.DD
