Srinagar, TDD,The General Body Elections for the office bearers of the Jammu & Kashmir Water Skiing Association (JKWSA) were successfully conducted on Saturday at Indoor Stadium Srinagar. The election, held every four years, saw active participation from members from different districts of Jammu and Kashmir who gathered to elect new leadership for the upcoming term.
The election process was presided over by Mtr Musbat Ismail Returning Officer J&K sports Council, ensuring transparency and fairness. Candidates for various positions including President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, and other executive posts were nominated in a peaceful manner.
J&K Water Skiing Association are set to focus on expanding the reach of water skiing across the region. The association’s aim is to reach in remote areas of Jammu and Kashmir, aiming to nurture local talent and potentially put the Union Territory on the map for national and international competitions.
As the region continues to embrace Water sports, the J&K Water Skiing Association’s upcoming tenure promises to bring in new opportunities, challenges, and a renewed focus on developing the sport for future generations.TDD
