Jammu:DD, Gojri Literary Society, Jammu President Tariq Hussain Abrar on Friday nominates office bearers of the society to promote Gojri culture and literature in rural as well as urban areas of Jammu district. He nominates Naseem Akhtar Vice President, Abdul Majid General secretary, Nazakat Ali Secretary, Advocate Mohd Akram Spokesperson & Legal advisor and Sajjad Ali Financial Advisor. Gojri Literary Society Jammu is working for the promotion of Gujjar culture and Gojri language & literature from last two years in jammu district. GLSJ has organized a literary function in collaboration with Himayat production on 9th June 2024 at Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust Jammu to pay tributes to the renowned Gojri fiction writer, Artist, Producer, noted journalist Late.Advocate Ghulam Rasool Asghar Hakla. It is pertinent to mention that Tariq Hussain Abrar, President of the society is a Gojri writer from Jammu. He is also a trusee of Gurjar Desh Charitable Trust Jammu. Tariq Abrar authored & translated many books in Gojri & Urdu. Tariq Abrar and his team also moderated nearabout 150 programmes on social media plate form “Clubhouse” in last four years to create literary & cultural awareness among Gujjar Bakerwal community.DD
