New Delhi: An Order has been issued today by Government of India as per an OM issued regarding extension in deputation tenure of Amit Sharma, IAS (AGMUT : 2012), Director Census Operations / Director Citizen Registration, Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh for a period beyond 31.12.2025 and upto 31.03.2030 which is further extendable under Central Staffing Scheme.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Amit Sharma had recently joined this Government of India assignment in ORGI, Ministry of Home Affairs at Director level in the month of November wherein he shall have the opportunity to conduct first ever digital paperless Census in the history of nation, that too, in his home soil.DD
