Good Governance Week 2025 Organised at Khaltse and Skurbuchan Blocks

Khaltse: To ensure saturation of flagship government schemes at the grassroots level, the week-long Good Governance Week 2025, under the theme “Prashasan Gaon Ki Ore”, was successfully organised at Khaltse and Skurbuchan Blocks of Sub-Division Khaltse.

The programme was conducted under the supervision of Incharge Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM), Khaltse, Asgar Ali. The camps were organised at the SDM Office Ground, Khaltse, and Community Health Centre (CHC), Skurbuchan.
At Skurbuchan Block, the camp was conducted under the supervision of Naib Tehsildar, Mohd Iqbal.

During the programme, Dr. Ali Rehman, along with officers and officials from various departments including Revenue, Animal Husbandry, Health, Sheep Husbandry, Agriculture, Horticulture, ICDS, Cooperative, Rural Development Department, Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, I&FC, PHE, R&B, PDD, Forest, Library and Information, were present to provide on-the-spot services related to different government schemes.
Information about departmental schemes was disseminated among beneficiaries, and flagship schemes were showcased through departmental stalls.

The Incharge SDM, Khaltse, Asgar Ali, briefed the beneficiaries about the objectives of Good Governance Week and encouraged them to avail maximum benefits from the camps.
During the camp, the Revenue Department provided on-the-spot services including issuance of Income, ST, LRC, ALC, Legal Heir, Property, Dependent and Ownership Certificates, issuance of ST certificates in the new format, and attestation of inheritance mutation, among others.
Similarly, services related to KCC loans, PM-KISAN, Aadhaar enrolment, PMMVY, distribution of medicines for livestock, deworming (dosing), and Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) were provided by various other departments.
Public grievances were also addressed during the programme, and the SDM assured the residents that the issues raised would be taken up with the concerned departments for early resolution.
Additionally, the Health Department conducted comprehensive health screenings and check-ups, while also facilitating registration and awareness of ABHA IDs and Golden Cards under the Ayushman Bharat Scheme during the camp.DD
