Kargil: DD, Government Middle School (MS) Chutuk proudly organized a dynamic Inter-School Quiz, Games, and Painting Competition in collaboration with VEC today, fostering creativity, intellect, and sportsmanship among students from various schools in the Kargil zone.
The event was graced by the esteemed Director of School Education Tashi Dolma (JKAS) as the Chief Guest, the Honourable Councillor of Choskore Constituency Nasir Munshi was the special guest, and the former Director of School Education Tsering Paldan (JKAS) as the Guest of Honour.
Other distinguished attendees included the Chief Education Officer Kargil, Deputy Chief Education Officer Kargil, Principal of DIET Kargil, Zonal Education Officer Kargil, Principals of Higher Secondary Schools Choskore and Minji, the Director of 17000 ft Foundation, as well as scout teachers and participants from various schools.
The event was enriched with vibrant cultural performances interspersed between the quiz, painting, and games competitions. These outstanding performances showcased the students’ talents and added a festive spirit to the occasion.
The inter-school quiz competition was delivered through PPT on interective panel for the first time at middle school level saw enthusiastic participation from MS Chutuk (the host school), MS Lobar, MS Archu, MS Stikchey, MS Goma Minji, and MS Gond Minji. In the quiz competition MS Chutuk secured 1st position, followed by MS Lobar in 2nd, and MS Gond Minji in 3rd.
The painting competition highlighted the students’ artistic flair, with MS Goma Minji clinching 1st position, MS Chutuk taking 2nd, and MS Archu earning 3rd. In the games competition, MS Stikchey emerged victorious with 1st position, followed by MS Archu in 2nd, and MS Goma Minji in 3rd.
Distinguished guests addressed the gathering, praising the Headmaster, staff, and Village Education Committee (VEC) members for their exemplary efforts in organizing a successful event.
They highlighted the importance of such platforms in nurturing students’ holistic development.
A generous contribution was made by Mohammad Issa, Principal of HSS Minji, who donated ₹4000 to the school and ₹500 to 1st and 2nd position holder in the quiz competition, celebrating their remarkable achievements.
The event concluded with the worthy Headmaster delivering a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the guests, participants, and organizers for their unwavering support and dedication.DD
