Govt to Issue Business Rules Soon to Streamline Governance: Dy CM Surinder Choudhary

Diplomat Correspondent

Jammu, (DD): Deputy Chief Minister Surinder Choudhary today assured that business rules governing the relationship between the government and the administration will be issued soon, aiming to eliminate confusion and streamline decision-making in Jammu and Kashmir.

Speaking to reporters, Choudhary highlighted the importance of having clear governance guidelines. “The government is expecting the business rules to be finalized and issued shortly. This will define the roles and responsibilities of various authorities, ensuring smoother coordination between the administration and the elected government,” he stated.

Addressing concerns of regional bias, Choudhary dismissed allegations of discrimination against Jammu, asserting that the government is committed to balanced development across both Jammu and Kashmir regions.

“There is no discrimination with Jammu. Our government is working to uplift all regions equally, ensuring development, investment, and welfare initiatives reach every corner of the Union Territory,” he said.

His remarks come amid discussions on administrative clarity, governance structure, and equitable development policies in Jammu and Kashmir. With the anticipated release of business rules, the government aims to ensure efficient governance and transparent decision-making in the region.(DD)
