Grand Welcome for J&K Deputy CM in Sisauli, Addresses Farmers

Sisauli, Muzaffarnagar:DD, Farmers in Sisauli, Muzaffarnagar, gave a rousing welcome to Jammu & Kashmir Deputy Chief Minister Chaudhary Surinder Choudhary today. He attended the Bhoomi Pujan of Mata Baljori Devi Annapurna Room at Kisan Bhawan as the Chief Guest and addressed the farmers, calling their struggles his own identity.

In Sisauli, Muzaffarnagar, the Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) today organized the Bhoomi Pujan of Mata Baljori Devi and a Kisan Samvad, with J&K Deputy Chief Minister Chaudhary Surinder Choudhary as the Chief Guest. BKU National President Chaudhary Naresh Tikait and National Spokesperson Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait were also present along with other senior leaders.

The Deputy CM was accorded a police guard of honor before performing the traditional rituals. Addressing the gathering, Chaudhary Surinder Choudhary expressed pride in standing on the sacred land of Sisauli, the birthplace of the farmers’ movement. He said this land has always stood strong during crises faced by farmers.

Sharing his identity as a farmer’s son, he said he relates to the hardships and struggles of every farmer in the country. He added that his appointment as Deputy CM has brought happiness not just to the Jatt community but also to farmers across Jammu & Kashmir. He recalled the sacrifices of great leaders like Sheikh Abdullah, Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev, and Baba Ambedkar, stating that Jammu & Kashmir is the crown of India and it is the duty of every citizen to safeguard it. He expressed hope that the Hon’ble Prime Minister and Home Minister would soon restore statehood to J&K and deliver justice to its people.

BKU President Naresh Tikait expressed hope that the Deputy CM would bring pro-farmer policies. National Spokesperson Rakesh Tikait submitted a memorandum highlighting the issues of farmers in J&K. The Kisan Samvad was conducted by BKU Western UP General Secretary Yogesh Sharma and presided over by Sarv Khap Minister Subhash Balyan.

Concluding his address, Chaudhary Surinder Choudhary thanked all farmers and leaders for their warm welcome and assured them of his continued support.DD
