Noomani Proposes Naming Poonch Campus After Dr. Masud A. Chaudhary

Jammu,TDD, A delegation of Gujjar-Bakerwal social activists, led by Ch. Muhammad Asad Noomani, met Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at the Raj Bhawan, emphasizing the need for focused initiatives to uplift tribal communities in Jammu and Kashmir.
While appreciating the government’s ongoing efforts for tribal welfare, the delegation called for enhanced socio-economic and educational programs tailored for the Gujjar-Bakerwal community. Ch. Muhammad Asad Noomani passionately proposed renaming the Jammu University Campus in Poonch after the late Dr. Masud A. Chaudhary, a distinguished Gujjar educationist and former Vice Chancellor of BGSBU, whose contributions have left an indelible mark on the region’s academic and social landscape.
Responding to the delegation, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha assured them of his commitment to reviewing their demands. He praised Mr. Noomani for his steadfast dedication to tribal welfare and encouraged him to continue his impactful advocacy.
