Srinagar, (TDD) : A Gunfight has started between terrorists and security forces in Chattru area of Kishtwar area of Jammu district on Friday.
Official sources told TDD that a joint team of Police and Army launched a cordon and search operation Chattru Kishtwar.
As the joint team of forces approached towards the suspected spot, the hiding terrorists fired upon the forces, triggering off a gunfight, they said.
Meanwhile, a police officer also confirmed that an exchange of firing between Terrorists and security forces was underway
This is the second gunfight in Jammu region in the past four days. Earlier, two terrorists were killed in Udhampur area of Jammu in an encounter.. (TDD)
