Udhampur :TDD- A preliminary meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti (RKS) was held under the chairmanship of Pawan Kumar Gupta , Member of Legislative Assembly (MLA) Udhampur West in Associated Hospital of Medical College Udhampur here today which was headed by Dr Mrityunjay, Principal of Medical College Udhampur and Dr Sanjay Kumar Sharma , Superintendent, Medical College Udhampur besides all other heads of the departments of the Medical College being introductory in nature during which all bottlenecks coming in the way of normal functioning of Medical College were brought in discussion .
The burning points relating to the acquisition of a portion of Industrial Training Institute (ITI) area adjoining the Medical College complex, parking slots for staff and attendants including Govt. Vehicles, Ambulances etc., problems of employees of variety in nature Endoscopic Technicians , service guarantee for Senior Professors / Consultations , besides formation of Policy of regularization of services through PSC as well as formation of general policy for their absorption in regular services, hostel problem , security , sanitation system enhancement of outsourcing budgets , likewise other burning problems of the staff as pointed out were discussed at threadbare.
MLA issued spot directions for up keeping of cleanliness /sanitation of the Medical College infrastructure and work with zeal for the benefit of the people. It was also decided that all relevant officers of the district associated with the college shall be inducted in the Rogi Kalyan Samiti and next meeting shall be held immediately thereafter so that all concrete steps in the deliberation with the concerned officers formerly taken firmly for the public good. Hon’ble MLA assured all possible help for the staff of Medical College by taking up the matters containing the genuine grievances with the concerned authorities at all levels.TDD
