Handwara, DD, As part of its ongoing community outreach and awareness initiatives, Handwara Police, in collaboration with religious scholars and Imams, organised lectures at Darul Uloom Braripora & Darul Uloom Imam-e-Azam Abu Haneefa Humpora focusing on the themes of patriotism and deradicalization.
During the session, the speakers underlined that true faith nurtures love and respect for one’s homeland, stressing that national peace and prosperity benefit every citizen. Safeguarding the unity and integrity of the nation was highlighted as both a civic duty and a religious responsibility.
On the subject of deradicalization, participants cautioned the youth against falling prey to extremist ideologies and urged them to embrace moderation & brotherhood, and adopt constructive roles in society.
The importance of education, discipline, and positive social contributions was emphasized as a strong safeguard against radical tendencies. Youth were urged to remain away from influences which are predisposed towards voilence and insulate society against such forces.
The programme concluded with a unified message encouraging students and youth to channel their energies towards building a peaceful, progressive, and harmonious nation.
