Handwara, DD, In Handwara, Police Station Qalamabad today organized an awareness programme at Higher Secondary School Sanzipora to commemorate the contributions of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Iron Man of India and architect of national integration towards the nation building and stability & peace within the country.
The programme aimed to highlight the professionalism, dedication, and multifaceted capabilities of the Police force in light of the ideals defined by the life of Sardar Patel.
Officers briefed the students on the functioning, responsibilities, and public service role of the Police in maintaining peace, law, and order. Special emphasis was laid on the values of unity, integrity, and discipline as envisioned by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
During the interactive session, students were sensitized about community-oriented policing and the importance of Police-public cooperation in ensuring a safe and peaceful society. They actively participated in the discussions and expressed their appreciation for the initiative.
