Doda, TDD,Continuing its special drive against wanted criminals and absconders Doda Police has arrested absconder who was evading arrest since last 09 years.
While giving details SSP Doda Sh Sandeep Mehta JKPS has said that absconder namely Bashir Ahmed S/O Ghulam Mohd R/O Sarwara Qazikund District Anantnagt Kashmir wanted in case FIR NO. 161/2006 under section 48 Excise Act which was registered against him in Police station Doda. After completion of investigation of the case, challan was produced in the court of law. The accused person was declared as absconder and warrant of arrest under section 299 Cr. PC was issued against him by the Hon’ble court of Chief Judicial Magistrate Doda on 13-10-2015
On the directions of SSP Doda, a police team was constituted from PS Doda led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday SHO PS Doda. The Police the team so constituted, during search utilized human and technical services and ultimately after hectic efforts the team arrested the absconder from Qazikund area of Anantnag Ditrict and produced him before the court of law. Mentionable here that, special drive has been launched by Doda Police and special teams have been constituted at Police Station level for the arrest of absconders/wanted criminals.TDD
