Hindi Language Training for Participants from Leh, Nyoma, Kharu. Khaltsi, Durbuk, and Nubra Zones Concludes Successfully at DIET Leh

Leh, Ladakh, DD, The 10-day intensive Hindi language training program, organized by the District Institute of Education. and Training (DIET), Leh. successfully concluded today. Held from February 3 ta February 13, 2025, the program brought together participants from the remote regions of Leh, including Nyoma, Kharu, Khaltsi, Durbuk, and Nubra zones. The training aimed to enhance participants proficiency in Hindi grammer and its practical application in daily communication.

The distinguished resource persons for the program were Dr. Bhaskar Thube, Assistant Professor, and Shobnim Kumari, Assistant Professor, both from the esteemed Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, along with Prof. Sonam Wangchuk, a retired educator from CIBS School, Chonglamsar, Leh. Their expert sessions offered invaluable insights into the Hindi Navikaran Karyakaram (Hindi-Renewal Program) and other nuanced aspects of the language. The training incorporated dynamic and interactive teaching methodologies to ensure an engaging and enriching learning experience for all participants.

Throughout the course, participants actively engaged in a variety of hands-on activities, group discussions, and practical exercises designed to deepen their understanding and command of the Hindi language. The primary goal was not only to empower participants with effective teaching techniques but also to encourage the widespread use of Hindi within their local communities,

The program concluded with a sincere vote of thanks from Deldan Angmo, Principal of DIET Leh. As a token of appreciation for their dedication and expertise, the principal presented mementos and traditional scarf to the resource persons. She also expressed heartfelt gratitude to the participants for their enthusiasm and commitment to the program. She emphasized the significance of such initiatives in strengthening linguistic skills and fostering cultural exchange. She encouraged the participants to implement their newfound knowledge in their respective schools and communities. In a notable gesture of support, Prof. Sunil Kulkarni. Director of Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, addressed the participants via an online video conference. He commended the participants on their dedication and successful completion of the training, expressing his hopes for more such programs in the future to continue enriching the region’s language education.

The formal proceedings were followed by a delightful cultural program, where the participants showcased the vibrant cultural heritage of Leh through a traditional song and dance performance. The performance was met with enthusiastic applause, adding a celebratory and festive atmosphere to the closing ceremony.

Participants expressed overwhelming satisfaction with the program, noting how the training significantly enhanced their understanding of Hindi. Many remarked that the skills and insights gained would enable them to teach the language with greater confidence and effectiveness in their communities. To conclude the event, the resource persons were honoured with traditional scarf as a symbol of appreciation. from the participants.
