Leh, DD, His Holiness Sakya Gongma Trichen Rinpoche, arrived in Leh today to a warm and heartfelt reception by Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor, Adv. Tashi Gyalson, along with a gathering of esteemed dignitaries and devotees.
Welcoming His Holiness at KBR Airport were Executive Councillor Adv. Stanzin Chosphel, President of LBA Tsering Dorjay Lakrook, President of LGA Ven. Dorje Stanzin, Former MPs Thupstan Chhewang and Shri Jamyang Tsering Namgyal, President of LBA Women’s Wing Kunzes Dolma, BJP State President Tashi Gyalson Khachu, and President of Matho Gonpa Ven. Jamyang Karma.
Also present were senior officials from various departments, association heads, venerable monks of Matho Gonpa, members of the Matho Goba, local leaders, and villagers.
CEC Adv. Tashi Gyalson expressed deep reverence and heartfelt joy on the auspicious occasion of receiving the blessings of His Holiness The Sakya Trichen Rinpoche, marking it a moment of honour for the people of Ladakh.
After the warm reception, His Holiness departed for Matho, where hundreds of devotees had gathered to offer their prayers and receive blessings.DD
