Checks infiltration routes, joint nakas of BSF-Border Police; holds security review meeting with SFs at Billawar PS

Kathua: DD, Inspector General of Police (IGP), Bhim Sen Tuti today inspected operational preparedness of Special Operation Group (SOG) in Kathua, Samba and Jammu Districts.
IGP Jammu Zone Jammu also reviewed late night alertness regarding their border management grid of Kathua, Samba and Jammu, BPP Sherpur, Babber Nallah, Mawa, Pangdour, and Nandpur.
He also checked joint nakas of BSF and border police checked, and infiltration routes Ujh, Basantar, Saharkhad, Tarnah nallah, Bein Nallah.
The officials said that the IGP Jammu also interacted with the QRTs, nakas at Londi Morh on NHW.
“The security review and coordination meeting held at Police Station Billawar with Army, CRPF, SOG, SPs Billawar, SDPO Billawar, SHO Billawar,” the official stated.
They said that the ring road of Samba Jammu was also checked during late night while returning from Billawar.
IGP Jammu Zone Jammu was accompanied by DIG JSK Range Shiv Kumar Sharma-IPS, SSP Kathua Shobit Saxena IPS, SP operations Jammu, Kameshwar Puri and SSP Special Operations and Trg. Vikrant Prashar.DD
