Jammu,DD, 04th April 2025, Jammu: Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu will host its 07 and 08 Annual Convocation on 6th April 2025 at the Rang Mach Amphitheatre, IIM Jammu Jagti Campus. Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO, National Stock Exchange, will grace the occasion as Chief Guest and deliver the convocation address. Dr. Milind P. Kamble, Chairman, Board of Governors, IIM Jammu, will deliver the welcome address, while Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu, will present the Director’s Report, highlighting the key achievements of the Institute.
Expressing his views on the convocation, Dr. Milind P. Kamble, Chairman, BoG, IIM Jammu emphasized that the event marks a significant milestone in the academic journey of the graduating students, preparing them for leadership roles in the corporate world. He highlighted that IIM Jammu remains committed to fostering excellence in management education and shaping future leaders. He further noted that the Institute’s recent achievement of the prestigious Business Graduates Association (BGA) Accreditation reflects its dedication to global academic standards and continuous improvement, positioning it among the most sought-after management institutions worldwide.
Prof. B.S. Sahay, Director, IIM Jammu stated that IIM Jammu takes a lot of efforts in nurturing students through a transformative learning experience that blends academic rigor, industry exposure, and global perspectives. He underscored that the BGA Accreditation, a first among third-generation IIMs, validates the Institute’s commitment to world-class education and measurable impact on students and society. He added that the convocation is not only a celebration of students’ achievements but also a testament to the Institute’s relentless pursuit of academic excellence and institutional growth. On this momentous occasion of the upcoming convocation, on behalf of the IIM Jammu fraternity, I look forward to extending a warm welcome to Shri Ashishkumar Chauhan, MD & CEO, National Stock Exchange, who will be gracing the event as the Chief Guest. His insights and experiences will undoubtedly serve as an inspiration for our graduating students.
Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, IIM Jammu, reiterated that the convocation is a celebration of students’ dedication and perseverance in achieving their degrees. The Institute looks forward to their active participation in the convocation ceremony and remains committed to providing them with a strong foundation for their professional journeys.
A total of 772 students will receive their degrees at the convocation. This includes 499 students from the MBA program, 114 students from MBA (Hospital Administration & Healthcare Management), 99 students from the Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), 3 students from the Ph.D. program, and 57 students from the Executive MBA (EMBA) program. The event will also recognize meritorious students with the Chairman’s Gold Medal (MBA, EMBA, MBA HA & HM & IPM), Director’s Silver Medal (MBA), IPM and Chairperson MBA Bronze Medal (MBA & IPM) for their outstanding academic performance.
The Institute, ranked 22nd in the IIRF Rankings 2025, has established 21 international partnerships and has been awarded the prestigious BGA Accreditation.
