Udhampur:TDD, In addition to protecting the country’s borders, Border Security Force (BSF) Personals have been actively taking part in festivals. A touching scene was seen today at the STC BSF Roun Udhampur, where over 500 jawans and officers gathered to celebrate an environmentally friendly Diwali on the grounds under the direction of Rajesh Kumar Gurung, IG STC BSF Roun Udhampur.
After joining little diyas to form a larger one, the BSF staff held candles while reciting “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” slogans.
Rajesh Kumar Gurung, IG STC BSF, underlined the significance of having an environmentally responsible Diwali celebration. He urged everyone to refrain from setting off firecrackers since they add to air pollution and noise.He extended warm Diwali wishes to all and urged everyone to come together and celebrate an eco-friendly Diwali.TDD
