Jammu: DD, A moment of immense pride and patriotism was witnessed today at Sunjuwan Military Station, Jammu with the inauguration of a 108 ft National Flag by Major General Ashim Kohli SM (Retd), CEO, Flag Foundation of India, War Veteran of 1965 War in presence of GOC Tiger Division, other renowned personalities in various field of Social Work, art, media, and local population of Sunjuwan etc.
The towering National Flag dedicated to the brave soldiers of Tiger Division and the patriotic citizens of Jammu City, stands as a tribute to the bravery, valour and sacrifice, and symbolises the unity and integrity of the Nation.
The stirring notes of patriotic songs performed by school children added to the grandeur of the event, filling the atmosphere with pride and reverence.
Speaking on the occasion, Major General Ashim Kohli SM(Retd) expressed his deep honour in dedicating this monumental National Flag to the Armed Forces and the people of Jammu City. He reiterated his commitment of the Flag Foundation’s mission of spreading awareness and instilling respect for the National Flag across the country.DD
