Rajouri :DD, A teenage boy was stuck on an island amidst heavily flooded Naushera Tawi river in Rajouri district in Jammu and Kashmir.

Indian Army was called for a rescue mission to evacuate the teenage boy. The brave pilots of Army Aviation of White Knight Corps rose to the ocassion and launched immediately under poor weather conditions. The pilots reached the location of rescue negotiating severe weather conditions and carried out low hover in the middle of Naushera tawi where the teenage boy was fighting for his life.
The pilots of Indian Army once again exhibited exceptional skill at negotiating wire obstacles, river in spate, no clear landing spot and still rescued the teenage boy and evacuated him safely to the bank of river.

This act of courage is way beyond their call of duty. Once again Indian Army proved their worth in serving our country,DD
