Indian Army Celebrates International Yoga Day with Enthusiasm and Vigor

Ramban :DD, The Indian Army marked International Yoga Day with great enthusiasm and vigor, highlighting the significance of yoga in promoting physical and mental well-being among its troops, locals and school children. The event was attended by 212 soldiers, 176 locals and 85 school children who participated in a mass yoga sessions led by expert instructors.

The sessions emphasized the holistic benefits of yoga, including enhanced flexibility, strength and stress management. The Indian Army underscored the importance of incorporating yoga into daily routines, particularly for soldiers and youth of the region who face rigorous physical and mental demands.

The event concluded with a talk on the philosophy of yoga and its relevance in today’s fast-paced world, encouraging soldiers and the youth to adopt yoga as a lifelong practice. The International Yoga Day event at Dharmund was a resounding success, reinforcing the Army’s commitment to holistic health and wellness.DD
