Rajouri:DD, In a continued effort to support the Swachh Bharat Mission, the Indian Army conducted a Cleanliness Drive’ at Lam.
The initiative saw enthusiastic participation from the Army personnel, reaffirming the Army’s commitment to environmental sustainability and community well-being.
The drive focused on cleaning the surroundings, removing plastic waste and raising awareness about hygiene and cleanliness among local residents.
With an aim to spread the awareness of cleanliness and environmental hygiene, an interactive session was also organised.
This event served as an excellent platform for spreading awareness about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene in our day-to-day life. It is not only just cleaning but involves educating locals about health hazards and the harmful effect of littering on the environment also.
A total of 28 locals and 13 personnel took part in the cleanliness drive. The Indian Army continues to uphold its tradition of service, both on and off the battlefield.DD
