INDIAN ARMY CONDUCTS BASIC COMPUTER COURSE FOR WOMEN IN HARNI

Mendhar , TDD,In a significant step towards empowering women in remote border areas, the Indian Army has initiated a specialized computer course aimed to increase awareness and knowledge of Information Technology among women with an effort to bring them at par with their counterparts in other parts of the country under Op Sadbhavna. The course program includes teaching the basics of computer operations, MS Office and safe surfing on internet.

The course is a step in bringing a positive change in the education methodology and will boost the efforts of the Government towards the ‘Skill India’ mission. The education in the field of Information Technology will not only help them in their education but also boost their employment prospects in times to come.

The program has garnered an enthusiastic response from women participants, many of whom have expressed their gratitude for the opportunity to acquire a skill that not only enhances knowledge but also opens avenues for employment and entrepreneurship.
