The Diplomat Desk

Rajouri, TDD: In its continuous effort to address the basic needs of remote communities in Rajouri, especially the Gujjars and Bakkarwals who often lack access to essential services, the Indian Army has initiated Medical Patrols. These patrols not only ensure the safety and security of the local populace but also provide vital medical assistance to those in need. A recent medical patrol was conducted in Bandigala, a region with a significant Gujjar and Bakkarwal population. The initiative was aimed at reaching out to these underserved communities, offering much-needed healthcare support and fostering a sense of care and security. The local residents of Bandigala expressed immense gratitude and satisfaction for the Indian Army’s efforts, acknowledging the positive impact of these medical patrols on their lives. Such initiatives reflect the Indian Army’s commitment to uplifting and supporting marginalized groups in remote areas, ensuring their well-being and fostering trust and cooperation. By bridging the gap in healthcare services and addressing the needs of vulnerable populations, the Indian Army continues to stand as a pillar of hope and assistance for the people of Rajouri.TDD
