Kishtwar:DD, An Indian Army jawan today martyred during a fierce gun-fight with the terrorists hiding inside the dense forests of Chatroo in Kishtwar district.
The gun-fight started early this morning, when the security forces launched a joint search operation in Chatroo forests.
It is believed that three three / four terrorists have been trapped in the forests.
The soldier as per the defence spokesperson sustained grievous injuries in the exchange of the fire and has sccumbs despite best medical efforts.
The operation is in progress, the spokesperson added.DD
