Akhnoor,DD: In a remarkable display of environmental commitment, a large-scale Tree Plantation Drive was organised by the Indian Army at Akhnoor region, highlighting the importance of honouring and nurturing nature.
The event, which brought together members of the Indian Army, local communities and environmental enthusiasts successfully saw the planting of a total of 2,500 saplings along the Line of Control (LC).
The participants, filled with enthusiasm and a deep sense of responsibility, actively engaged in the drive, planting saplings and contributing to the restoration of green spaces in the region.
The initiative aimed not only to promote environmental conservation but also to spread awareness about sustainable living and the importance of collective responsibility in protecting our planet.
