Indian Army Organised Medical and Dental Camp at Dabbi Village ahead of Fence in Bhimber Gali Sector Near LoC

Mendhar, DD,The Indian Army, under the aegis of the Ace of Spades Division, organized a Medical and Dental Camp on 18 January 2025, as part of its outreach to provide essential medical support to remote villages located within 500 meters of the Line of Control (LoC). This significant initiative was undertaken in close coordination with the civil medical faculty to ensure comprehensive healthcare for the local residents.

The camp, which catered to over 300 residents from the villages of Panjani, Sohala, Dabbi, and Forward Basoni, ahead of the fence, provided vital medical assistance, including comprehensive medical check-ups, dental consultations, and the distribution of medicines. Medical examinations were conducted for locals from the remote villages of Dabbi, Sohala, and Panjani, ensuring that those ahead of the fence received the necessary healthcare services.

Army medical and dental specialists, alongside civil medical professionals, addressed a wide range of health concerns faced by the villagers, ensuring a professional and collaborative approach to healthcare delivery.

This initiative highlights the Indian Army’s commitment to supporting border communities by bridging the healthcare gap in these underserved regions. The camp not only delivered critical medical relief but also strengthened the Army’s relationship with the local population.

The effort was highly appreciated by the villagers, who expressed their gratitude for the timely and much-needed support. Residents noted that such initiatives are invaluable in regions where medical facilities are scarce, bringing essential services closer to their doorsteps.
