Rajouri: DD, As a precursor to Rajouri Day 2025, the Ace of Spades Gunners of the Indian Army, organised Rajouri Volleyball Tournament to promote sportsmanship, teamwork, and unity among the youth of the region. The initiative aimed to channel the energy of the youth into positive and constructive activities, while strengthening the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect among communities. The tournament featured eight teams and was held at ALG, Rajouri from 05 Apr to 07 Apr 2025 and witnessed enthusiastic participation from talented young athletes, representing their volleyball clubs with pride and passion. The finals witnessed an intense face-off between Rajab Club & Gorsi Club with Rajab Club clinching the title in a thrilling match. The Indian Army’s initiative to organise this tournament is part of its efforts to engage with the local population and promote sports development in the region encouraging youth to take up sports as a career and compete at a higher level. The event brought together young athletes, coaches, and officials from across the region, promoting unity and sportsmanship.
