Indian Army Organises Medical Camp at Manjakote, Rajouri

Rajouri: Indian army organized a Medical Camp under Operation Sadbhavana at Manjakote, Rajouri.
The camp aimed to provide free medical care to the local population, especially those with limited access to healthcare facilities.
A team of Army doctors, in collaboration with civil medical authorities, offered consultations in General Medicine, Eye Care, ENT, Genecology, Orthopaedic and distributed free medicines to over 432 x patients (230 x Gents, 149 x Ladies and 80 x Children).
In addition to health check-ups, awareness was spread on hygiene, nutrition and preventive healthcare. The initiative helped bridge the gap between rural communities and healthcare facilities, encouraged healthy practices and significantly contributed towards improving overall health awareness among the Local Population.
The special attention was given to children, elderly and women. The advertently planned medical camp is a reflection of Indian Army’s commitment to the well-being of the local population and continuous support and service to the local population alongside ensuring national security.DD
