Indian Army Organises Quiz Competition at Naugam, Ramban

Ramban: In a continued effort to foster educational engagement and historical awareness among the youth, the Rashtriya Rifles Unit of Indian Army organized an insightful Quiz Competition today at the Pradhan Mantri Shri High School, Naugam.
The event focused on aiming to deepen students understanding of regional diplomacy and peace efforts.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of various classes, who displayed commendable knowledge and curiosity on the theme.
The quiz was structured in multiple rounds, covering key facts, personalities involved, historical context.
The officers and senior officials of the RR Unit were present to encourage the participants, highlighting the importance of understanding India’s diplomatic history and nurturing a sense of national pride and critical thinking among young minds.
Speaking on the occasion, the Officer emphasized, “Our aim is not just to ensure security, but also to contribute to the holistic development of the region’s youth. Events like these promote awareness, foster education and build a bridge of trust and knowledge between the Army and the local community.”
Prizes were awarded to the top-performing teams, while all participants received tokens of appreciation for their spirited involvement.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks by the school principal, who praised the Indian Army’s continued support and active role in community engagement and youth development in the region.
This initiative is part of the Army’s ongoing Operation Sadbhavana, which seeks to win hearts and minds through educational and community outreach programs.DD
