Indian Army Organises Special Interaction with Ex-Servicemen and Widows at Batsiyala

Reasi: The Indian Army organized a special interaction program with Ex-servicemen and Widows at the remote location of Batsiyala in district Reasi.

The event was aimed at recognizing the invaluable contributions of the veterans and families of brave hearts who laid down their lives in the service of the nation.
The program witnessed participation from a large number of ex-servicemen and Veer Naris and widow’s form the region. The army representatives addressed various issues related to welfare schemes, pensions, medical facilities and resettlement opportunities available to veterans and their families.


This outreach effort reaffirms the Army’s unwavering commitment to the welfare and well-being of its veterans and brave heart families, especially in remote and far-flung areas. It also served as a platform to strengthen the bond between the serving soldiers and the veteran community.
The Indian Army continues to honour its brave soldiers and their families and remains dedicated to supporting them in every possible manner.DD
