Poonch & Rajouri : DD, The Ace of Spades Division, under the aegis of the White Knight Corps of the Indian Army, has organized a National Integration Tour for school students from the Poonch and Rajouri regions from 07 to 15 December 2025. This initiative aims to foster national unity, provide exposure to India’s premier institutions and inspire young minds from the border districts.
During the tour, the students will visit Dehradun, where they will experience some of India’s most prestigious educational and administrative institutions. Key visits include the Governor House, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA), the Indian Military Academy (IMA) and the University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), along with other renowned academic centres.
The tour will offer students first-hand insight into India’s governance structures, civil services, military training, and emerging educational opportunities. It is designed to broaden their horizons, nurture leadership qualities, and motivate them to pursue careers in diverse fields such as civil services, defence and higher education.
This National Integration Tour is a testament to the Army’s ongoing commitment to nation-building and youth development in the border regions. By providing exposure beyond their local environment, the Poonch Brigade aims to instil confidence, national pride and empowerment in the participating students, strengthening the bonds of unity and patriotism across the country.DD
