Ramban:DD, Strengthening its commitment to education and community development, the Indian Army successfully concluded a 6-week-long Winter Computer Education Program in Banihal today. The initiative, which began on December 21, 2024, aimed at equipping young students with essential digital skills, fostering technological awareness, and empowering them for the future. Over the past six weeks, students received hands-on training in basic computer operations, typing skills, internet usage, and fundamental coding concepts. The program saw enthusiastic participation, with children showing remarkable progress and eagerness to learn.
The structured curriculum ensured that students gained practical knowledge, enhancing their confidence and digital literacy. The winter break of schools was aptly utilized to improve the computer education of young children belonging to remote areas of Banihal. The closing ceremony was marked by a sense of accomplishment and enthusiasm, as students showcased their newly acquired skills.
The initiative was widely appreciated by the local community, highlighting the role of the Indian Army in fostering education and skill development in remote areas.
