Indian Army Organizes Financial Management Awareness Session For Veterans At Chassana, Reasi

Reasi: DD, As part of its continuous efforts to support and empower the veteran community, the Indian Army organized a financial management awareness lecture for Ex-Servicemen and widows at Chassana, Reasi. The session was designed to provide valuable guidance on key aspects of financial planning, including savings, investments, pension management and awareness of government welfare schemes. The aim was to equip veterans and their families with the knowledge and tools required to make informed financial decisions and secure their future.



A total of 27 veterans and their families attended the program and actively engaged with the resource persons, seeking clarifications on various financial matters. The interactive nature of the session enabled participants to gain practical insights relevant to their daily lives. The initiative reflects the Indian Army’s enduring commitment to the well-being of its veterans and their families, particularly those residing in remote areas. By focusing on financial literacy and welfare awareness, the Army continues to strengthen its bond with the veteran community and ensure their dignity, security and empowerment.DD
