Indian Army Organizes Medical Camp for Gujjar, Bakkarwal and Pahadi Communities in Rajouri

Rajouri:DD, As part of its ongoing commitment to community welfare, the Indian Army organized a medical camp at Audan and Mathiyanigala.
The initiative aimed to provide essential healthcare support to local communities, including the Gujjar, Bakkarwal and Pahadi residents of Audan and surrounding areas.
The camp witnessed voluntary participation from medical professionals of the Government Civil Hospital, including Dr. Irfan Hussain, who contributed their expertise and services to the initiative.


The event received an overwhelming response from the locals, reflecting the trust, cooperation and goodwill between the Indian Army and the civil population.
A total of 232 individuals comprising 28 men, 168 women and 36 children benefited from the free medical consultations and treatment provided during the camp.
This collaborative effort between the Indian Army and civilian medical professionals ensured the delivery of vital healthcare services, significantly contributing to the well-being and health awareness of the local populace, particularly among the Gujjar, Bakkarwal and Pahadi communities.DD
